The Guild Secret Service plays a key role 

A special division was created by the GuildMaster JetStar in February of 1998. The KGB Guild Secret Service Division. This special division of the KGB armed forces specializes in protection of KGB Executive officers, covert operations, enemy guild infiltration and the gathering of defense intelligence. The GSS does not carry standard military ranks and will report directly to the GuildMaster. Its leader will carries the title of Minister and nicknamed "M". All KGB GSS operations are considered Classified.  This division was recently reactivated after we became semi settled here on SP.   The GSS has been a key part of KGB victories in the past and has promised some big coups in the future.

GSS Captain 003 explains recent operations on SP:

Four months ago the GSS came to Deceit to help out our brothers RiffRaff
and Demoyn, who had setup shop there to make money. We watched our
neighbors, UDL and GC, to determine their patterns and methods. We found
that they were under-utilizing Deceit because they spent all their time
terrorizing the mainland. We petitioned the guild to join us on the island
to take advantage of the money making opportunities and to make life more
difficult for our most difficult enemies.

Finally our guild joined us, and when the housing ban was lifted, we were
able to cover a vast space on the south end of the island (insert picture).
Six buildings were there before the ban was lifted, and two showed up in
our territory after the ban.

Now we spend our time giving the enemy a reason to cower on the boards.
