The
Imperium declares WAR on KGB and ALLIES On Wednesday eve, The Imperium held a meeting to decide what they consider to be the fate of The Knights of Glory and Beer. Our guildmaster JetStar, his lordships Paradox Thorn and Crag, and myself were all in attendance for this so-called meeting, ‘twas really more of a witch-hunt in this lady’s opinion. Other guilds present to vote on our “fate” as it were, included ToD, ToM, OGD, TAK and a few other smaller guilds of which I am not familiar.
The evening started off with Sir Isaac Chickenhawk stating why everyone was there, I do believe our presence was more of a courtesy invite so we could see how much we were undesired in these lands but that is the opinion of myself at this time. He introduced Lady Snow, who proceeded to explain in a very harsh tone how The Imperium felt about our actions in their lands. I shall never understand this, as “their lands” are part of this world we call home and I do not see how they can determine the boundaries set by themselves as being “theirs”.
I digress
however. Lady Snow continued on her rant that the KGB had harmed their people
through our actions and they wanted to punish us for the damage we have done to
them. I was a little lost at this point because ‘tis my belief that their laws
were the ones that caused this in the beginning.
The Imperium believes that we should not be able to function in these
lands and would like to see us at one with the grounds we walk on. Now we know
this shall not happen as very rarely does another guild threaten us and we abide
peacefully. The Imperium
put a vote to those who attended, on the declaration of war against KGB and our
allies. Temple of Darkness, Disciple of the Moment, Order of the Golden Dawn and
Temple of Mondain, have all pledged their allegiance to The Imperium for the
purpose of this war. His lordship
Mordid of KGH stated he would not take part in this but would remain neutral at
this time. They will not support KGB or the war. Crassus Ta’Kier also stated
they would not declare war but would help the defend homeland of those being
attacked. Those aligned
with The Imperium did vote yes and as of this afternoon, war has been declared.
‘Tis not a stone war but one of all out fighting from what I
understand. His Lordship JetStar has this to say about the matter….
“Personally I am exhausted with trying to make a deal that is in
everyone’s best interest. In
retrospect I can see now that my original plan was the best one.” So as of this
eve, The Knights of Glory and Beer are hereby accepting the declaration of war
as put forth by The Imperium and their allies. I wish all the best of luck and may our values and standards prevail.
